What is this feeling?
This partially homicidal heart.
That crawls threw my veins, gives my eyes an edge.
As i ride across busy intersections, daring cars to hit me.
Aggressive highs as i ride alone,
linkin park blasting too loud,
but my ipod's on hold, guess its too late to stop.
After the rain, where my hands should be cold,
but in the wake of this feeling, i'm not affected by the air.
The fresh scent that the world has.
The cloak of vitality the water has draped over the pavement.
The cold doesn't phase me,
the hot doesn't hurt.
I've almost been killed by acting on this feeling.
I've almost been hurt by taking it out.
I am invincible, I am untouchable.
I feel no pain, and no pain shall touch me.
Is this a death wish?
Is this a threat.
Looking over my shoulder to see if a friend is behind me,
knowing he isn't, and knowing he doesn't know that i just want a glimpse.

Is this the lapse of the mind.
The forgotten people making their mark.
Is it the loneliness i don't want to admit.
The misplaced life of a ranger somewhere odd.
I just wish i had teeth to tear out a throat,
i wish that this bloodlust made sense.
Wish i could use it to do something it was meant to be.
Instead of lashing out at no one who needs it.

I do not fear death, i do not fear pain.
Shoot me right now, and i'll watch you till even past when i go.
Put an arrow threw my heart and i'll snarl and go.
I don't have the teeth for it, i'm human, perhaps, as they come.
I don't have the feeling.
I don't have the heart.
Come get me my enemies,
i'll strike you down where you stand.


Closing these eyes, these all too human windows.
I wish i had a challenge to await me this night.
Where i could let this cold ice demon free from my soul.
Let me become what constantly hides in my eyes.
Show the world what dying is really all about.
Take too many with me.
Sounds like a plan.

Why stick around when no one listens to me.
When people walk away because the world doesn't see.
When no one can answer, why someone is mad,
when they are sad. When life is just bad.
If i got answers, i wouldn't prod.
If i knew all, i'd tell you all.
Under rain, under snow,
under life as we know.

Her comes the storm.
Hide from the norm.
i'll stand on the horizon,
awaiting my time.
Give this wolf in my soul a chance to be whole.
Give this feeling a purpose destroying this shell.
Give those who are wronged, a chance to have vengeance.
Give those who “care” something to learn from.
Find the music, seek the day,
but don't give away.
The person that lives inside you.
