You are the phoenix,
I am a wolf,
yet you are without the flitty bird
You have known birds,
you have known furred.
You had a wildcat, a hummingbird, and a lark.
The wildcat lasted you to something sure.
The hummingbird broke you again.
Do you trust the wolf enough to trust her with yourself?
Does the wolf trust herself enough to keep you on your feet?
Wanting nothing save your happiness,
wanting nothing but your fire to keep burning,
wanting not for you to ball away again,
but willing to wait forever.
Your fire will not go out with me.
I say this in all hope,
I don't want you flying cold.
Fly warm and hot and full of flame.
I'll help you to rekindle your burnt out flame.
That I will do.
Wolf, human, normal or weird,
I will be your friend.
